Brent Richey

I have and always will hail from the beautiful state of Tennessee.  I was born in Hendersonville, TN on the 25th of November, 1980.  I attended both Riverdale and Waverly Central for my high school years.  After high school, I joined the Army and spend the next five years in the communications field.  During that time, I had decided that my true goal was to become an Army officer.  Before my discharge, I already knew without a doubt which school I was to attend; my father's own Alma Matter - Tennessee Technological University!  The wonders of our planet have fascinated me all my life and at first, I was unaware where best to learn these mysteries.  Six months into my collegiate career I finally knew where to look; the earth sciences.  By far the most caring and insightful professors I have studied under have been my own here in the Earth Science Department.
