I am a thirty-one year old junior geology major at Tennessee Technological University.  I am minoring in biology.  My college career began in the fall of 1988, and I have had several majors since that time.  I dropped out of School for several years, but returned in the spring of 2000 as a part time student.  It was not until this time, when I took my first intro to geology course, that I realized that geology was the career for me.  Though I plan to graduate in the spring of 2001, I am still unsure of the exact course I want to take.  I am interested in volcanology, and would like to combine this with my interest in biology.  While geology is my newest passion, I also enjoy keeping tropical fish, working crossword puzzles, and reading science fiction
