I was born in Bowlingreen, KY on April 20, 1984, when shortly after, my parents and I moved to Greenbrier, TN where I have lived ever since. I have no brothers or sisters so for entertainment I spent all of my time outside exploring and collecting animals and rocks of any kind or playing softball and basketball. I attended Davidson Academy in Nashville from K4 through 12th grade. There, I was able to take a biology track, which set me up to enter Tennessee Tech University as a Wildlife/Fisheries major. After taking my second geology class, Geology and the Environment, I realized that this is what I really wanted to do. I plan to attend graduate school, but for now I have too many interest to decide what I will study. Beyond academics, I play softball for the Tennessee Tech’s varsity softball team, which does not leave me much spare time. But when I do have time, my dog Cole and I go out hiking to find new trails.
